Degust End to End Testing and Monitoring

The following options are the most popular plans. The operator plans can be customized at checkout.
You are free to select these optional features right now or at any time later. Using Degust, you may add fuctionality on the fly for a limited evaluation period per fature.
Features and Options
Number of Explorers
The Desgust Explorer is the probing software running the tests and monitoring events. It gets its tasks from the Degust cloud and is configured by the user using the Degust Cockpit. There is no limitation on the number of Explorers in your organization. We have customers with 1 Explorer and Customers with close to 10.000 Explorers. The Explorer Software runs on your Hardware. Acctopus provides downloadable images for SBCs (single board computer) as well as Docker images (Operator plans only)
Pricing: The pricing for the Explorer is always per month and Explorer. The more Explorers you use, the cheaper it gets per Erplorer.
User Accounts
Degust counts named users. Each plan includes a number of users. You can add user subscriptions at any time.

Functional Groups
End to End: Degust delivers real ‘user-like’ testing from the user’s end to the service, which may be a streaming platform, a VoIP exchange, a distant VoIP user, a Book store, or an Event portal… you name it.
Telco Core Network: Degust delivers accurate interface simulation within your core network, and it can dissect your protocols to detect errors on the fly.
Monitoring: different and more effective than our competitors, Degust will use the same tests for monitoring.
Network Analysis
Degust tests UDP and TCP for throughput, RTT, Jitter. Testing VoIP, Degust tests the SIP protocol, its connect parameters and even the voice quality from one Explorer to another, both connected to the same or different VoIP exchanges. VoIP testing is an optional feature.
Dashboard
For immediate usability, Degust comes with a predefined but freely configurable Dashboard. Degust can push the data into the customer’s metrics service for customers with network statistics facilities in their NOC (Operator plans only).
Reporting
Every test has its results. Results are prepared and provided as PDF, downloadable, or sent to your email inbox. Degust will append the reports to the corresponding ticket if you integrate Degust with your trouble-ticket system.
Scheduling
Every test can be started using a scheduler, let’s say ‘every 5 minutes’. This is a unique feature, as any test may become a monitoring event.
Alarming Queues
Starting with the Operator plans, Degust provides alarming queues. These queues allow to monitor detected errors by configuring how often an error should come up in what time, how to get the alerts and how long an error must vanish, before Degust stops alerting it. This ensures that you wont get an alert if an error happens only once every thousands examinations, that you will get a reminder if the error persists and that Degust stops alerting you, if the error vanishes even without your intervention.
